Great news and hot off the press! The next Traders Forum is now likely to be on a Saturday in November 2016, with an exact date TBC. Please check back in early October to find out exact date and timings etc. Thanks.
The Traders Forum is a ‘Mastermind’ group formed with the aim of raising the bar from the usual so called Trading Events, free Seminars and low cost workshops. It is aimed at both active traders and aspiring traders with some trading knowledge. Plus it is also designed to be a sociable inter-active occasion for net working with like minded people and for seeking knowledge from seasoned traders without the usual attempts at a hard upsell at the end.
This special full-day event will be held at (Venue TBC), a stylish Art Deco building located in the heart of London’s Diamond District. The Hatton is a few minutes walk from Farringdon and Chancery Lane underground stations and there are three car parks close by.

Francis Hunt, aka The Market Sniper, bought his first option at 21 years of age back in 1989 and has been traded equities ever since. He is a technical trader who believes in patiently waiting for high probability trades, hence the Sniper handle. He believes that most people expend too much effort chasing marginal trades. For this reason, Francis coaches his students to trade breakouts from a very specific chart pattern called the ‘Hunt Volatility Funnel‘. This pattern occurs regularly across all markets and timeframes and provides technical levels for both stop losses and profit targets.
Francis also has a broad interest in economics and macro trends. As he says himself, “The best surfers know how to catch the biggest and best waves“.

Rob Tratt of JN Financial has been trading the financial markets since shortly after graduating with a BSc in Economics in 1999. Having started trading futures in January 2001, he has been trading his own account since March 2002. After attending a Larry Williams seminar in 2005, Rob began researching and creating his own innovative trading systems, many of which he has profitably traded over several years.
Rob is a systematic trader and he will be discussing the pros and cons of systematic, or algorithmic, trading, specifically:
- What systematic trading is, why you should consider it and how you can go about developing a systematic approach to trading
- The important factors to bear in mind when creating and optimising a trading system and how to avoid the pitfalls that can catch out the unwary
- How he created a trading system that has made money every year since 1994 across a wide range of markets
- An introduction to his own proprietary systems that he trades in his fund as well as trading for clients on an advisory basis
